Jacobson Micro Needle Holder – Round Handle, Tungsten Carbide Dusted Jaws round handle, jaw surfaces impregnated with fine tungsten carbide dust (use with 5-0, 6-0 suture) For use in microvascular cardiothoracic surgical operations, notably those that call for sutures of the sizes 5-0 and 6-0, the Jacobson Micro Needle Holder was developed. These jaws have small tungsten carbide flecks attached to them to strengthen their strength without adding bulk, as opposed to the typical solid tungsten carbide inlays. This instrument is simple to hold and operate thanks to its rounded handles and streamlined form, which is essential for such delicate work. This instrument is offered in three lengths (7.25″, 8.25″, and 9.125″), as well as a variety of styles with straight or curved profiles, locks, or neither.
