Throughout the manufacturing process, each item is subjected to continual functional and visual examinations by master craftsmen utilizing cutting-edge tools and optical technology to guarantee our requirements are met.Which types of stainless steels are used in the manufacture of GreyMedical Surgical Instruments?
Our instruments are made of premium-grade European martensitic stainless steel by 400-series German stainless steel. This grade is in the 400 series, including types 410, 410S, 4141, 416, 420, 431, and 440. The martensitic steels utilized are magnetic, with 12% chromium and a modest carbon content, resulting in good corrosion resistance. We often employ 410/420 kinds for dental and surgical tools because they provide a strong combination of corrosion resistance and mechanical strength through heat treatment.What manufacturing tolerances apply to GreyMedical Instruments?
Our GreyMedical is handcrafted to precise standards by expert craftsmen. For example, worldwide regulations allow for a length difference of +/- 5.0mm in the production of a mayo hegar needle holder, however GreyMedical only permits a tolerance of +/- 1.5mm.
