Tubing Clamps

Tubing clamps occlude or hold surgical tubing, such as drains, catheters, suction lines and IV tubing. They stop flow temporarily or keep tubing fixed to the drapes so it does not slip into or out of the sterile field. Grey Medical offers tubing clamps and tube holders in surgical-grade stainless steel within our forceps and clamps range.

Uses of Tubing Clamps

  • Temporarily closing drainage, chest or catheter tubes.
  • Fixing suction and irrigation lines to the surgical drapes.
  • Keeping cables and tubing organized during long procedures.
  • Stripping or rolling tubing to clear clots and debris.

Types of Tubing Clamps

  • Vorse Tube Occluding Clamp: smooth, padded-style jaws that close tubing without cutting it.
  • Presbyterian Hospital Tubing Clamp: a ring-handled clamp for occluding tubes.
  • Nichols Tubing Holder and Lore Tube Holding Forceps: hold tubing securely in place on the drape.
  • Morse Towel Clip Tubing Holder: combines a towel clip with a tubing holder.
  • Gunnar Roller: a roller tool for stripping chest and drainage tubes.
