Cameron-Haight Periosteal Elevator 9-1/4″ (23.5 cm) Layers of soft tissue are frequently raised from the underlying bone using the Cameron-Haight periosteal elevator. In order to preserve the vasculature close to the first rib during surgery for thoracic outlet syndrome, this tool is most suited for use in cardiothoracic surgeries. This elevator has two heads, one with a sharp tip for scraping close to the bone and the other with a more rounded, less-sharp tip for more gentle manipulation of soft tissue.
