Their distinctive motion simultaneously raises the lids. for the lowest possible global external pressure. The mechanism is additionally made to move away from the surgical field as the blades open to provide for unhindered access to the surgical field.
KEY FUNCTION
- For appropriate tension along the lid, a special “Double – X” mechanism retracts blades in a parallel motion.
- The mechanism slides out of the way so that access is unhindered while the lids are retracted.
- For patients with extra tissue on their lids, ball tips eliminate irritation.
