GreyMedical® Introducing Enucleation Scissors 5-1/2″ (14.0 cm) is ideal for excising the globe following an infection or trauma. The scissors feature a thick concave blade and a thin convex one. The thick blade allows the surgeon to push the globe anteriorly, gaining access to sever the optic nerve. The scissors are available in three different curvatures depending on surgical need. Scissors is easy to clean and can be reused in clinical settings. Also, it is crafted from premium German Stainless Steel, featuring a satin finish that ensures the best possible quality.

This curvature matches the natural anatomical contour of the globe, allowing the instrument to slide smoothly underneath and behind the eye without putting excessive, harmful traction on the opposite eye’s optic nerve chiasm.  They cut through the dense surrounding orbital fascia, attached ocular muscles, and internal ophthalmic blood vessels. Also, it is easy to clean and can be reused in clinical settings.
