A double-ended 18.0cm, sometimes referred to as a Freer periosteal elevator, is a double-ended surgical tool that usually has a blunt and a sharp blade. The periosteum, a membrane that covers bones and other soft tissues, is raised and separated during dental, nasal, and neurosurgical treatments. Its dual-ended construction makes it adaptable to a variety of procedures by enabling surgeons to alternate between dull and sharp edges for different jobs. It is manufactured following international standards of Medical Hygiene and is constructed from German stainless steel for long-lasting use.
