The Hajek Retractor provides the general surgeon with a wide range of advantages. The retractor has different blades on each of its ends for this purpose. One of the blades, for instance, has a sharp concave curve. This blade is therefore perfect for retracting rounded and cylindrical structures as well as skin layers. The remaining blade, on the other hand, has a square outline and a horizontal peak at the end of its terminal rim. This feature helps surgeons perform forcible tractions, which are crucial for maximizing tissue fixation.
