Rhinoplasty Nasal Osteotome

After resection of the dorsal hump, osteotomies are required to close the open roof and reestablish the nasal pyramid. Intermediate osteotomies are performed when excessive convexity or concavity of the nasal bone is observed in a severely deviated bony nasal vault. An osteotomy rhinoplasty is a surgical procedure of the nose where a nasal bone is divided or removed. Osteotomy rhinoplasty is not a common procedure.
