By exerting tension on the gouge, this instrument helps the blades cut through tough tissues. The instrument has a disc-shaped head. Its phenolic handle has grooves to provide a secure, non-slip grip. The mallet has a steel head that weighs up to 1lb 8oz, 2 lbs 9 oz, and 1 lb 10 oz with different diameters: 32mm, 35mm, and 45mm. It is manufactured according to international standards of medical hygiene and constructed with German stainless steel for long-lasting use.
