GreyMedical® Introduces Rib Bone Elevator Angled – Phenolic Handle 6 3/4″ (17.14 cm), utilized to execute thoracotomy surgeries by removing the ribs’ muscles, cartilage, and periosteum. The instrument is shaped like a little mallet on one end and a chisel on the other. The 17″ rib elevator has a ridged base and is designed to facilitate the removal of the periosteum, a fibrous covering of tissues, by surgeons. It comes in 45-degree and 90-degree angled tips. A phenolic handle is part of it that offers a smooth and secure grip. It is manufactured according to International Standards of Medical Hygiene and constructed with German Stainless Steel for long-lasting use.
