GreyMedical® Introduce Schnidt tonsil forceps 7 1/2” (19.05 cm) used to cease bleeding from blood vessels or to hold tonsils. It is used during tonsillectomy to clamp the soft tissues of the tonsils to reduce bleeding. They feature long shanks and wide finger ring handles for better control over the instrument. These forceps have a single open ring design with a jaw that is either totally or partially bent. The surgeon has more mobility because there is only one open ring. It is manufactured according to International Standards of Medical Hygiene and constructed with Premium German Stainless Steel for long-lasting. A comfortable handle allows for an area to rest the handle and prevents the instrument from slipping, ensuring a sure grip. They are marked with CE.
