Additionally, it is used to chop or nibble away at hard bone tissue, such as bone segments. The tool’s angular jaws, measuring 5 and 6 mm, have an atraumatic sharp point that causes less local damage. For improved control, it has a plier-style grip handle and a double-action spring mechanism.  It is manufactured according to international standards of medical hygiene and constructed with German stainless steel for long-lasting use.
