Hammers and mallets of the Cloward style are typically used in conjunction with gouges, osteotomes, and chisels to exert force. The instrument’s huge 25mm diameter steel head weighs 8 ounces and 14 ounces. With a spherical head on one side and a disc-shaped head on the other, it features an ergonomic steel grip. The two sizes that are offered are 7 1/2″ (24.13 cm) and 9″ (22.86 cm). It is manufactured according to international standards of medical hygiene and constructed with German stainless steel for long-lasting use.
